Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. She was writing songs before she learned to write or read. The first time she picked up a guitar was when she was 8 and began singing on an Knoxville Tenn radio station at the age of 11. The same year, she recorded her debut album on Gold Band Records an independent small label. Although she was in school, she had already established herself in the local music scene. Her goal was to be able to perform at a much larger size. On the very day she was able to graduate from high school, it was 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart on Monument Records. In the year 1967, Porter Wagoner was looking for the next girl to perform on his television show that was syndicated. Parton took the offer in 1967 and signed to RCA Records in 1968 and joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, but in 1974, because her solo albums such as Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. Parton's song, I Will Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), reached the top of the. number 1 position after the duo separated. In 1974, Parton's song"I Will Always Love You" peaked at No.
